Money (with sync) App Reviews

Unfortunately this app is not working for me. Paid $10 and installed. Spent 3 hours learning the features. Loaded one month transactions from my bank. Everything looked ok until I installed this app on my iPad and synced. I could see my data on iPad for only few minutes then app closed by itself, that was the end. After that I was getting same message “Database is damaged and cannot be repaired” on both devices: Mac and iPad. Nothing was prompted by the program to repair database or to do any steps to revive the app. I don’t want to spend anymore time calling support and trying anything. I lost my confidence and going to remove this program and try something else. Hope my experience will help others to make the right choice.

I haven’t used this app for long so for that reason don’t feeL I can give 5 stars BUT…I’D GIVE 5 STARS FOR THEIR SUPPORT SERVICES ANYDAY!! WHAT I CAN SAY … I was having a problem scrolling through the transactions. I contacted the developer and got the best customer service I’ve had in a very long time. Even when I was ready to give up, their contact was determined to get me going. AND SHE DID IT!!! I was so very impressed. I’d buy an app from them again just knowing that they stand behind their product, in a time when it’s often difficult to even get an email answered by others. (ANASTASIA…. I have been using this product for over a year now and I think it’s a great tool. I can see exactly where I stand respecting my planned spending for the year very easily whether on a year-to-date basis or in terms of how much of the year’s budget I’ve spent. It does take a bit of work to set up, but once that’s done it’s easy to enter your transactions and track what you have expended. Money also makes it easy to plan ahead and monitor your cash-flow going forward so that you don’t have any sudden nasty surprises when a recurring payment comes out of your bank account. Terrific product that has helped me save a ton of money!

After a few bad versions, everything is back to normal and works perfectly! I was patient but it worked out great!

It syncs the app data only partially. I dont know why, but the data on my Mac is 1 week late to the data on my iPhone. :-( Totally it doesnt worth 1700円 (or $20).

I used to love it but since iOS 8 it dose not synchronize my iPhone and Mac. And the latest updates didn’t help at all. I hope introducing Yosemite will help.

Sync with Mac does not work. Only manual duplication can add the transactions. According to the other reports - this problem exists from the beginning. Can it ever be fixed??? How can the money be returned? The program is useless at Mac without sync to my iPhone!

Fine software. THe best in class, but fails to start recently. Please fix.

There have been little updates, need more

Some options present in the ipad version are missing here: not possible to remove a recurrent payment. This app lacks of the desktop experience: no cut and paste,no drag and drop, etc… From the graphical point of view, the app is barely sufficient, the textures are not as nice as the ipad version, Id expect more. In a desktop application like that, Id expect at least an import from cvs or xls. The export tool window has some problems with the buttons. That said The app works fine and does what it supposed to do. icloud sync seems ok. I hope that the developers will fix those defects on the new versions. My overall rank is 5.5/10.

I purchased money with sync v.6.6.4 for lion 10.7.5 and for my iPhone and ipad. My problem is that sync between iPhone<--->iPad works; its doesnt happen between iPhone<--->mac and iPad<--->mac, even if i checked iCloud in the settings (that seems to be blocked); and icloud account setting is checjed document and data. I also tried to delete document and data on iCloud but did not solve the problem.

This app is good enough for all the needs of a regular household, and is very affordable. I only don’t get 5 stars because it can get sluggish sometimes, and once it crashed and lost some of my data.

you can’t connect with your bank? this is precisely the reason I purchased this app in the first place, the field to select the bank account always throws an error. I want my money back!

Ive been using it for a couple of months. Bought it just in time to budget my schooling expenses. I like it so far

Great product. Would love to see a Bi-monthly option for income. Also show "Remaining" on the Budget tab as well as actual balance in my account (or do I have to learn the app better?). Then I dont have to do the math seprately.

This is the best budget app i have used. After spending a good bit of money on other apps, i finnaly found one that worked flawlessly with all my apple devices.

Ive been using this app for a few months now and I really enjoy it. Wether youre on the road with your iPhone or iPad, or on your mac at the office, everything stays synced through iCloud. Very convenient.

this app is not woking always crash , end of story plz do not buy it, find another app

I have this Money on my Iphone, Ipad and iMac. Both Iphone and iPad work fine but cant get computer to sync. Support for this issue seams to be nonexistent.

After using the Product for about 12 hours, it became apparent that this was more about window show than actual function. I must admit the screen shots had me going, but after using if for a while, I really could not see any true benefit to owning this software. Save your money…;
