Constant icloud syncing problems.. So sick of it!!!
Constant icloud syncing problems.. So sick of it!!!
This is a good app, no matter in Mac, iphone or ipad. I tried many different financial apps. This one is the best. You can note all details for each account. I use this for years. The only program, and the biggest one is……UPDATE too SLOW. You can tell the design is old fashion since in iOS 5. I hope it can redesign to match the iOS8 style. Even I am willing to pay the new version, as long as I can update to the new version with my years data. Once it updates, I will change my rating into 5 stars.
two updates later and it still will not sync between Mac, iPhone and iPad. The app does sync between the iPhone and iPad. If you only use an iPhone or iPad it is a good app. If you have a Mac you will be disappointed. Maybe the 3rd release will actually work.
After wasting money on three different programs, this one is the first one that actually worked without crashing everytime I try to use it. It’s easy to use and has everything that I need or want. I would suggest this program to anyone that wishes to keep better track of their money.
It worked so good with all my IOS and Mac devices. By the begining of October Cloud Sync stopped. However, the developers fix the problem last week. I am happy again. Did not find something that made me to forget Microsoft Money.
I have downloaded this money since May 2012. When I started to use it at that time, it wasn’t very sufficient to cover most the principle requirements of any money calculation apps. So, I ignored & stopped use it until this year. I resumed using the app again this year at August. I have noticed so many upgrades that are really met my requirements. I can create a periodically bills for my electricity, or my cell phone. It has an excellent way to do discharging liabilities. I admit that I had an issue with iCloud synchronizing when I installed in iPad recently which would cause to lose all my plans. I didn’t know what happened. First I used money app in my iMac, then I purchased Money for iPad due to I want all my calculation to be handy for me. Every thing was going was going OK. I installed the app then started with iCloud sync, suddenly, I lost some of my assets & plans. When I got back to my iMac , I noticed what happened in iPad was already copied in iMac. anyway, I already did balance adjustment. Finally, I give Money app 4 starts. The app needs more suggestions & upgrades.
This is a wonderful app! I have been using this app for nearly 2-3 years, and have enjoyed very much the easiness, features, and design of it! I have this app for my iPhone, iPad, iMac, and MacBook Pro; all synced through iCloud. I was experiencing several difficulties with iCloud recently and a damaged base, however because I couldn’t go to any other app, I remained confident that their support would help me through my issue with the app! It was indeed resolved, and was worth waiting for! Their technical support is very responsive and savvy! Thank you, iBear, for a great app for a future Accountant! It sure helps me with my assets, liabilties, bills and budgets! :)
Don’t waste your time or money. This app crashes consistently… iCloud Sync doesnt work. Gonna ask for my money back!!! Also be sure to check with your bank to make sure you don’t get charged (signing up) for importing your bank statements. The app automatically signed me up (Quicken via Wells Fargo) for this service at $3.00 per month just to import my statements.
I have everything I need for financial planning and control with this app. The iCloud option allows seamless synchronization between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The reports are awesome. Completely digging this!
Disappointed to discover this doesnt sync with the mobile app. $20 loss added to my checkbook :-(
I used to use this app on my 3 Apple devices (MacBook, iPhone & iPad). But, the few latest versions were just a mess. I’ve been having several sync problems and the app on Mac OS just became useless, since it closes unexpectedly after 10-15 seconds.
When I 1st got this app I was unable to get my mac and iPhone to sync. After a litter tinkering I was able to sync. (for what ever reason I need to remove, reinstall, and restart my comptuer to get the sync to work) I did contact customer support with my initial sync issue and they got back to me with in 24 hours, which was great. But I did manage to solive my problem before there reply. (Like i said I had to tinker with it) Well Now with it up and running. When I add/update something on my I phone it won’t sync. This was one of the main reasons I got this app. for when I was out I could add my purches on my phone. Once the sync issues is fix this could be a good app. I like the layout, and calendar view on the mac. I think its missing a few options. It would be nice to have a “every 2 weeks” on the planned Bills. Also it would be nice to split the catagories. When I go shopping I may buy clothes and House hold or Beauty supplies at the same place. Hard to keep track of a budget if you can split categoryes. Once sync improvement are made will get better reviews!!
So far so good. I have had a few problems with entering the data but think that will improve as I learn the program. I have been able to sync to my iphone without any difficulty but am having some issues with syncing to the iPad. This is my third program- trying to get the cheaper ones to work but wasted my money.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the HORRIBLE syncing of your apps! I bought your apps (iOS and Desktop) so I could easily work between them. Not happening! It takes an eternity to get the info from one to the other. PLEASE fix it.
I will say it’s okay but it does NOT sync.
this app is a scam after setting it up all day i later found out by synching with my bank there is a monthly fee no where in the app information do they say that
I’ve been using this app for almost a year and it is refined enough now to work flawlessly between my Mac, iphone, and ipad (latter two with IOS app versions). While I don’t have it automatically linking to my banking account, it has proved to be an indispensible tool for me in monitoring and recording my expenditures. It is not the simplest app to use, but perhaps the somewhat greater complexity accounts for its scope.
I am beyond frustrated. Multiple emails to feedback support still without resolution. Bought $19.99 Money for MAC and still totally unusable 2 weeks later. I updated and followed all recommended tips. I have a profile on my iCloud (from my other devices in apps that I also paid for separately) that I can see in the Money for MAC app but I am UNABLE to click on it as it stays gray- doesnt hyperlink. Clearly my iCloud is syncing the name of the profile but why why cant I click on it!?! More importantly I would expect customer support should be able to address my problem more efficiently than just copying me to whats available through support guide- which doesnt address my issue...
Now I like the idea of this product and the layout of it. But that’s all it has going for it, do you want to hook all your accounts up to it to monitor all your financials from one spot? Well forget that idea with this app, nothing but error codes left and right while trying to link accounts.
Purchased this to replace the Quicken Essentials app I have used for years but Intuit recently stopped supporting. I need an app that will download the activity from my various banks so that I can stay on top of my bills. By this app’s description, I though it would fit the bill. Unfortunately it will not sync with my Chase account despite multiple attempts over the last week to get my Chase accounts connected (using all the various JP Morgan Chase affiliates in the menu). The ability to automatically sync with my online accounts was the most important feature this app claimed to offer. After finally giving up on getting this synced with Chase automatically, I downloaded my account activity directly from Chase and imported it into this app. Even that did not work. The app treated every transaction in my checking account as a *deposit* rather than a debit. If I can’t even download my account activity and import it, this app is completely useless to me. One of the credit cards I *was* able to sync with the app, loaded in as a debt equal to my credit limit. I rarely use that particular card, I confirmed that it has a zero balance according to the issuer. Counting debits as deposits and credit limits as liabilities are intolerable errors. Save your money. I’m going back to Quickbooks.
